Wolves have been on the search for a Striker to replace the injured Nathan Blake for Months. Infact Wolves even took Chelsea`s Carlton Cole on loan, but finally the Welsh striker eyes his comeback.

Wolves` hunt for a striker can now be scaled down as Wolves are boosted with some very positive news regarding strikers.

 Wolves were heavily linked with Manchester City`s Darren Huckerby earlier in the week, but Manager Dave Jones quashed the reports and Huckerby signed on loan for Nottingham Forest. Wolves may have been intrested in the striker despite the denial of Dave Jones but the Positive news regarding Nathan Blake and Dean Sturridge means that Wolves can scale down the search for a new striker.

 Nathan Blake, who is currently join leading scorer with Kenny Miller (with 10 goals) has been out of action for Three months but he has now re-joined light training and should be back within the next few weeks.

 Jez Moxey told the E&S "A fit Nathan Blake now would be like signing a top star, Now, with George Ndah and Adam Proudlock scoring, Kenny Miller showing good form and Dean Sturridge and Blake on the way back, unless the manager says something to me that will surprise me it's fair to say the search has scaled down."
