Wolves Vs Ipswich

Goals from the suddenly active Kenny Miller (2), George Ndah and Lee Naylor were enough to take Wolves to a comfortable victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Ipswich town in a freezing cold night match, rearranged from 3 months ago.

Iswich started with a bang, scoring after only 3 minutes through Marcus Bent from a free kick on the edge of the area. However, Kenny Miller silenced the home fans with a superb knock in following a saved shot from Colin Cameron. Wolves were back level and the away following were happy once again.

Lee Naylor proved that he is back on form, stopping both Marcus Bent and Darren Ambrose from scoring for the home side within the following 10 minutes. Butler recieved a knock to the ribs not long after but returned to on the field action a few minutes later, making a few good interceptions. But on the stroke of half time, Ipswich were back in front with a Matty Holland goal from a free kick.

HALF TIME - Ipswich 2-1 Wolves

A surprisngly uneventful start to the second half with few chances falling to either team. I unfortunatly missed the 50-60th minutes due to a power cut at my house but was informed by a friend at the game that not much was going on. I was back in time to hear Kenny Miller draw Wolves level on the 63 minute mark to send the away fans back into a chorus of shouts. 11 minutes later, Wolves had done it again. this time through left back Lee Naylor, nodding home just as the news reached the Wolves fans that West Brom had conceded 3 goals in the space of 5 minutes at Loftus Road.

And before you knew it, Wolves had notched up their fourth, with super striker George Ndah doing it again for Dave Jones's men. Then............ well I lost power again and didnt hear the end of the match! But there were no more goals and Wolves walked away with all 3 point. Fantastic result - well done lads.
