Wolves` fans hopes for Automatic Promotion faded a while ago, but Former England Under 21 International still has his targets set on 2nd place.

Lee Naylor has his eyes firmly set on the Automatic Places after his wonder-goal against Ipswich on Wednesday ensured the recent record of one loss in eight games remained.

 The former England Under 21 international struck a sensational volley into the top corner with only ten minutes remaining and then played a part in George Ndahs 6th goal in 6 games as Wolves hit four goals for the eighth time this season.

 Naylor however still believes Wolves are capable of snatching one of the top spots despite being 17 points off 2nd place with only 14 matches to play.

 Talking to the Nationwide website Naylor said "It's very tight in the pack chasing the top two,

People will think automatic promotion is a long shot but you never know in this game.

"Look what happened to us last season. Why shouldn't we turn the tables and do that to someone else?

"This place is buzzing now. We've shown again what we can do. When Wolves are on a roll, there's not many in this division who can live with us. It's just that consistency we need."

 Meanwhile Wolves manager Dave Jones has asked for a similar performance to that on Wednesday.

 Wolves conflicted serious damage to Preston earlier in the season, winning 4-0 - Prestons heaviest defeat of the season. Ex-Scotland manager Craig Brown told the Shropshire star

: "It was our worst defeat of the season and one which we did not deserve.

"The scoreline flattered Wolves and the match was a lot closer than it suggested. It would be nice to pay them back for that."

 Jones however has his eyes on a repeat performance

"We're back in the top six and our aim is to stay there," he said. "We've got there before and let it slip but that was a big, big win on Wednesday and now we need to follow it up.

"I think we've got players here that can exploit areas of the park if the opposition are not on top of their game.

"We showed that again on Wednesday by the way we finished so strongly and didn't sit back and settle for the point." he said.
