Wolves will seek back to back home wins and a third consecutive win this afternoon when they face Everton at Molineux. It will be the first 'return' game having beaten Everton at Goodison Park in August and will give Wolves the chance for their first 'double' of the season.
After his double at Brentford midweek Hee Chan Hwang will surely feature in the home team before flying off to join South Korea to take part in the Asia Trophy. His two smartly taken goals led Wolves to their first back-to-back win of the season on Wednesday lifting them to 11th spot in the League whilst Everton's recent resurgence under coach Sean Dyche came unstuck with losses away to Spurs and at home to Man City this week, however they have put in some impressive showings away from home this season and cannot be underestimated.
Wolves have announced that goalscoring midfielder Mario Lemina has flown home to be with his ailing father - he announced in his post match interview that he was unwell - and he will presumably be replaced by John-Ricard Bellegarde or Tommy Smith to play alongside the industrious and increasingly effective Joao Gomes. Fabio Silva has already agreed a loan move to Rangers for the remainder of the season, whilst interest from several other teams in Sasa Kalajdzic may prevent him getting a game. Of course Wolves fans will be hoping Pedro Neto will make an appearance and an impact at some point.
The game is due to kick off at 3pm and will not be televised before the highlights are available on Match of the Day. Our referee will be newby Tom Brammall with Michael Oliver on VAR Duty.
As Ivybridge Wolf and Cheshire Wolf will be sat together in the North Bank to watch this match, there will be no 'commentary' or regular updates from either of us, but visitors and board members are encouraged as always to post their own observations and comments on the progress of the game for those unable to watch it.

An excellent performance from our team today which made it a delight for our first game meeting up this season. The whole team played very very well and as a good cohesive unit. Tommy Smith slotted in perfectly to replace Mario Lemina alongside the always industrious and energetic Gomez. Hwang had a bit of a wobbly first 20 minutes but then sorted himself out and was really productive as was the always positive Matheus Cunha who attacks at every opportunity.
Ait-Nouri did some good work and was clearly upset to be subbed for Hugo Bueno, but it was also very good to see Pedro Neto warmly welcomed back on to the pitch.
Two of my family members travelled with me and both are Evertonians and they were sorely disappointed by the performance of their team, and the way they were set up by Dyche. I don’t believe they had a shot on target all afternoon, and Calvert-Lewin hardly saw the ball.
A fine afternoon at the Mol again and all credit to Gary O’Neil for getting three wins on the bounce and back to back home wins.

Brief comment on the match … great day out, I needed it! It was likely the best Wolves performance I’ve seen in several seasons, totally dominant, controlled, high energy, crisp passing, skillful, attack minded! Terrific stuff. Can we have some more please! Great company too 👍 …. And yes Angry, we do have a combined touch of luck !
