George Ndah's proposed comeback has been put on hold as the speedy hitman has been struck down with a virus.

Ndah who has been out of action for the last six games due to a torn hamstring, was expected to figure in saturdays win at home to Gillingham but he failed to be fit for that game and unluckily has been hit with a virus.

He was pencilled in for reserve team duty at Rotherham tonight but that has been put on hold and with this latest setback, a likely comeback against Rotherham senior team in 10 days will possibly be to soon for him.

Boss Dave Jones said "George has been away from the club since the end of last week and obviously has something worse than the virus Lee Naylor and myself had."

"We were over ours in 24 hours or so. He has been off for a few days and is on antibiotics."
