Michael Branch's nightmare stay at Molineux looks likely to end with Bradford preparing to sign the out of favour Wolves forward.

Bradford are set to sign Wolves forward Michael Branch on a free transfer from Wolves , but the Yorkshire club might wait till the end of the season to do it , but they are still looking into the option of getting him in before tommorows deadline.

Branch as had a miserable time at Molineux but has been in fine fettle for the second string prompting many clubs to have a look at him , the forward has been on loan at Hull and nearly secured a move there but Wolves wanted a small fee for him which Hull couldnt afford.

Kidderminster had a loan bid turned down yesterday but the news that Bradford are set to capture him will be a relief to Branch.

Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus Bradford chairman Gordon Gibb said "We have had an ongoing interest in Michael and that's something we are going to take up at the end of his contract with Wolves."

"There was an interest in taking him on loan but that was ruled out. Nicky Law was interested in him and still is but there is a contractual issue with his present club"

If Wolves pay up the remaining three months of Branch's contract he will be able to figure for the Bantams trip to Norwich a week on Saturday.
