The President of Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito has denied that their highly rated Striker, Carlos Tenorio is about to move to England, despite interest from Wolves.

Author: Scott Cooper The President of Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito has denied that their highly rated Striker, Carlos Tenorio is about to move to England, despite interest from Wolves. Wolves, along with Blackburn Rovers have shown interest in the 24 year old, but the LDU ( Liga Deportiva Universitaria) President Esteban Paz has said that Tenorio will stay in Ecuador as he lacks the experience to move to England. Esteban Paz claims that Tenorio has agreed a move to Qatar and will make the move in August. Paz told Planet Football "Tenorio will continue in LDU until August and then he will travel to Qatar" "We decided not to negotiate Tenorio to a European Team (Wolves) because the player is not mature yet." Tenorio is heading to Qatar to gather some experience and he will then be offered to other European clubs. "When he come back, we will listen to offers that come from Europe" Paz added. |
