Wolves have taken Kilmarnock`s young star Kris Boyd on trial until` Thursday so Jones can take a look at the highly rated Striker.

Boyd, 19, played in yesterdays 4-0 defeat to Rangers but has impressed Wolves chief scout George Foster in recent weeks and Jones now wants to take a further look at Boyd.

The Striker will travel to Molineux on Monday and will train with the Players until Thursday when he will then travel back to Scotland to prepare for Kilmarnock`s game at the weekend.

Killie manager Jim Jefferies told BBC Sport "He is going down to Wolves for two or three days on Monday and we will have him back on Thursday for preparation for the game with Partick Thistle.

"They have been watching him and like what they see. But Dave Jones has not seen as much of him as the chief scout.

"He wants to take a look at him, so we will take it from there."

*Meanwhile Work on the new temporary seating at Molineux is currently under-way.

Molineux will house an extra 800 seats in the Billy Wright/Jack Harris corner with temporary seats and work to erect the seats has already started to ensure Molineux is ready for the home game against Charlton in less than two weeks time.
