Wolves Manager Dave Jones has made a scathing attack on young Goal Keeper Matt Murray after the England U21 star was forced to miss yesterdays defeat at the hands of Charlton.

Dave Jones already has terrible injury troubles, with Lescott, Kennedy, Miller, Ndah and now Cooper all out injured for the next few weeks, but Jones was forced to recall Michael Oakes to the starting line-up for yesterdays game against Charlton as Matt Murray was injured.

Murray picked up a bad back whilst playing for the England U21`s against Croatia on Tuesday, he picked the injury up in the first half and Jones is furious that the Play-Off Final Man Of The Match continued to play the second half.

Jones told the Birmingham Post “Matt Murray got injured while on international duty which I’m very annoyed at."

The news that Murray was injured came as a second `Keeper blow in as many days as Wolves `keeper Carlos Kameni had to return to France after being denied a work permit.

When asked by the Birmingham Post what Murray`s problems were, Jones fumed “Matt’s problems? Where would you like me to start? Back, knee, groin, he’s stiff. But he’s come back with a bad back which he picked up at half-time and I don’t know why he went back out and played. That’s why I’m annoyed.”
