Greatest Midlander: Make The Wright Vote

 The BBC are currently running a campaign to find out the "Greatest Midlander". He or She can be dead or alive, and it just happens, that in the shortlist of 10 is our very own Billy Wright.

 Obviously, we want you to vote for Billy Wright, who comes in a shortlist of 10 great Midlanders.

 Up for nomination along with William Ambrose Wright is; Jasper Carrot, Neville Chamberlain, Sir Edward Elgar, A.E.Housman, Sir Stanley Matthews, R.j Mitchell, Ozzy Osbourne, William Shakespear and Sir Frank Whittle.

 First player in the world to win 100 caps and one of only four England players to have done so; captained his country in 90 matches, a world record he shares with Bobby Moore;  played for his country in a world record 70 successive matches, all as captain; captained his country at a record three World Cup final tournaments, in 1950, 1954 and 1958; missed only three matches in 13 seasons as an England player, all in 1950-51; never sent off or cautioned in entire career.
