9.50pm The
Fans Forum was a complete success. The panel of Sir Jack Hayward, Jez
Moxey and Manager Dave Jones answered questions regarding the Travel
Club, Money Issues and the future. wolvesfc.co.uk

Internet to offer you such a service. It
was announced tonight that an Earlybird offer will be available again
from February next year. A
"Family Coach" on the Wolves Travel Club will be put in
operation from the next away game and it was announced that the annual
wage bill was a staggering £20Million. Here
are a selection of the best questions and answers.

A| DJ), Just to get one with it. We know what we had and we tried to
get what was around for the value.
A|SJH) We spent £4.7M. This was the team which beat Newcastle (who
were third in the Premiership at the time) and this is the team which
beat Sheffield United convincingly at Old Trafford. It wasn`t a derelict
team.
A|DJ) The person we went
for wasn`t available. Everyone in the backroom staff are working their
socks off and they are the same people which got us promoted. I`m still
looking for the right person, i`ll keep waiting and hopefully when the
time is right, we will find the right person and get him in.
A|SJH) The commentators at
the start of the Play-Off Final kept saying that this was `the most
important game of the season`, some said it was worth £30 Million.
However, we had to pay out £5.2M before we even earned a penny off SKY.
We had to pay Player Bonuses and what the riches in the future will be i
don`t know. In the first Division we got £60,000 for each time we
played at home on SKY, the visitors get £10,000. Now we get £650,000
per team, and SKY pay out in January. Our pay-roll is now £20Million a
year, and despite the SKY money, we still have to pay £20 Million on
players wages.
A|DJ) Well some of the
players i have signed are playing. Jody Craddock, Henri Camara and
Steffen Iversen are all playing. The one which is finding it very hard
to adjust is Isaac Okoronkwo. The one which has settled the best is
Henri Camara, he has done really well. We are pleased because the
players have settled in well, I can only play 11 players, I can`t play
everyone.
A|SJH) Well waiting is
essential. We can`t give the club to away to anyone.
A|DJ) We send players out
on loan to give players their match fitness and give them experience. If
they go and do well at their loan clubs we know they will do it for us.
We then move them up a level until eventually they come through. We have
to find out if they are big enough and brave enough to make it in the
first team.
A|JM) I`m not at liberty to
say how much money we have. We have not held lots of money back for
January but there is no suggestion that this team is not good enough in
the Premier league. What we have said is that we will assess the
situation and if we need to buy an extra one, two, or three players in
January then we will.
A|DJ) All the players want
to do well. Not one player wants to go out in front of 30,000 and not do
their best. Paul Butler last year when we played in the Play-Off at
Reading had hurt his knee, we didn`t think he would play in the second
leg. At 3pm in the afternoon our Physio said he had scan results from
Paul Butler and they would have to tell Butler that he had a crack
in his leg. The first thing Butler said was "Can it do any harm
playing", we said "no" and he went to bed, played through
the pain barrier and we won the game. That shows you the commitment.
A|JM) Good question. Its on
a basis of supply and demand. We have to raise prices, and we are
selling out the coaches.
A|JM) There has not been a
set wage sealing, however that does not mean we will buy expensive
players and put them on huge wages. We considered paying very high wages
in order to bring players in, however players don`t always want to come.
We are paying the going rate.
A|JM) Excellent Idea
and we will take that up tomorrow. Thank You.
A|SJH) Yes
I do. I take full responsibility for the wrong-timing of my
announcement. I have said sorry to the Manger and the Players, it was
wrong.
Q) When you do give the club away, will you remain
part of the club?
A|SJH) I would like to become President of the club. I dont
want to have to pay in to the club!
A|SJH) No No No!
Molineux is a world famous name, it was given in 1877 and will remain
that name.
A|JM) We are planning to
offer an Earlybird offer again yes. Watch this space, but the earlybird
will be offered again.
