Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that players are paid on a performance related basis and have also announced that their annual wage bill is a staggering £20Million.

Wanderers have announced that players are paid on a performance related
basis and have also announced that their annual wage bill is a
staggering £20Million. The
new Premiership Wage bill has risen by a 120% from last seasons Division
One wage bill. The
new Wage Bill is an annual £20Million, more than double West
Brom`s annual Wage Bill for their only Premiership Season last term. The
news was announced at last nights Fans Forum. 300 Season Ticket Holders
packed Molineux to fire questions at a panel of Jez Moxey, Sir Jack
Hayward and Manager Dave Jones. Sir
Jack told the Forum "We spent what will amount to £4.75m on
transfers in the summer, and we paid £5.2m on players' bonuses and
other payments before we received a penny from Sky." "That
was on top of the £13m or £14m we spent on the team the previous two
years. I don't consider that team was derelict. Players wages are the
biggest drain on any club's income and our salaries will be £20m." Meanwhile
Club Secretary Richard Skirrow said that players are on Performance
Related pay, with some players wages going down should the club be
relegated. "We
have tried to get people on performances-related pay as much as possible
- we have players whose wages go down if we get relegated." Said
