Wolves Club Captain Paul Butler has been charged with misconduct by the FA after the tunnel bust-up at Middlesbrough at the start of the month.

Butler will now have a personal hearing, however if he is found guilty he may be forced to serve a three-match ban.

Wolves Captain Paul Ince has also been asked by the FA to explain his comments towards Referee Steve Dunn and Danny Mills.

Wolves secretary Richard Skirrow said "We have received official notification from the FA that Paul Butler has been charged relating to alleged events that followed Wolves' match with Middlesbrough"

He added "The player has now been notified and will have to submit his response to the charge within the next fortnight.

"We feel that it will be essential to both the player and club to have a personal hearing to answer the charge and to discuss not only the alleged post-match events but also certain incidents within the game that we feel contributed significantly to those events."

Paul Ince must explain why he called the Referee "Crap" and branded Danny Mills an "Idiot"
