Wolves Manager Dave Jones has branded his side as "sloppy" after a poor showing in the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Everton.

Despite a bright opening, two Everton Goals from Radzinski and Kilbane in the space of three first half minutes were enough to move Everton out of the relegation zone.

Wolves Manager and former Everton Star Jones admitted that, had Wolves been facing someone better, then the outcome could have been devastating as poor as a performance this was.

"No disrespect to Everton, but had we played like that and gave the ball away so easily against Manchester United or Arsenal, we would have been severely punished." Said Jones who made over 70 appearances for Everton.

"We were sloppy and went chasing the game too much.We needed to stem what was going on and we did not."

"We set off okay in the game, but we conceded the ball cheaply over and over again."

"At this level we are a team who cannot be off the pace, we need to be `at it' all the time."

Jones added "Last season we were playing in a division where we could be half cock and get away with it, you cannot do that in The Premiership."
