week we asked you if Wolves Manager Dave Jones had your backing and we
can now reveal the results. Dave
Jones earned Hero status in Wolverhampton on the 26th May 2003. He
became the first ever Manager to lift Wolves into the Barclaycard
Premiership, and it was the first time in 19 years that Wolves were back
in the top-flight of English Football. The
first season in the Premiership got off to a bad start. So bad that
Wolves conceded 9 goals in the opening two games. Things improved,
slightly, but Wolves will be bottom of the Premiership, by a four point
margin on Christmas Day...And we all know what that means. Last
week we asked you if Dave Jones had your backing following the poor
start to the season. The signs are encouraging. A
massive 81% of you said Jones has your full backing whilst the
remaining 19% appear to have given up with the former Southampton
Man. The
fact that the Wolves Fans are fully behind Jones will come as some
comfort as he prepares his team for the trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day. As
daunting a trip it may appear, Wolves have already lost 5-0 at the home
of the Gunners this season. Sadly, it was the reserves we lost to last
