Wolves Confirm Irwin Intrest.

Jez Moxey has confirmed that Wolves are intrested in signing Man Utd Right-Back Dennis Irwin, this comes after increasing speculation that the Right-Back may be on his way to Molineux.

Jez Moxey has today confirmed that Wolves are intrested in signing Manchester United Right-Back Denis Irwin but stresses any move for the former Republic Of Ireland International.

Irwin is out of contract at the end of the season and many Clubs including Wolves are in the race for his signature.

Jez Moxey says "It has all been brought about by the fact that we need a right back and Denis Irwin is soon going to be out of contract at Old Trafford.
"I cannot say that we have not discussed Denis Irwin, because we have, but only in the same way that we have discussed a lot of players since the end of the season.
"In any case, nothing is going to happen for weeks yet. I will be amazed if any player moves before June 30 when their contracts run out."

Wolves will see Irwin as an ideal replacement for Kevin Muscat who left at the end of the season.
