Hero On Saturday, Kenny Miller
is again the Hero as he struck a fully deserved 89th minute equalizer at
Molineux tonight.
All 11 players were on
top form for the second time in a week but special praise must go to a
fabulous trio of: Michael Oakes, Alex Rae and Kenny Miller.
Oakes was on top form again,
making a superb from Heskey in the first half and again in the second half
when he denied the same man from point blank range.
Alex Rae was momentous again.
The Scot was everywhere and his fabulous form this season has given Wolves
a chance to survive this Premiership Season.
Finally, Hero on Saturday and
now Hero on Wednesday - Kenny Miller scored his second Premiership game of
the season, and fourth goal in three games to earn Wolves a massive point.
It was French midfielder Bruno
Cheyrou who opened the scoring just before half time.
A sweeping Liverpool move,
instigated by Steven Finnan saw Cheyrou knock the ball over Oakes from 5
yards.
Wolves came out for the second
half in the same vein of form in which they did on Saturday and Wolves
should have drawn level ten minutes after the break.
A superb cross from Denis
Irwin was nodded on well my Miller and Steffen Iversen managed to scoop
the ball over the ball, with just the keeper to beat, from 5 yards.
However, after Murphy had hit
the post and Heskey had his shot saved by Oakes, it was time for Kenny
Miller to step forward.
Right-Back Denis Irwin whipped
the ball in towards the back post and Miller smashed the ball across the
face of Dudek to send Molineux into raptures.
A massive point and a superb
way to move on from the win on Saturday.
