Warner Deal Believed To Be Off

The Deal in which would have seen Millwall Goalkeeper Tony Warner join Wolves from Millwall is now believed to be off due to an injury to the Millwall shot stopper.

 Millwall had recently turned down three offers from Wolves for Warner, the latest offer believed to be around £150,000.

 Jones has made his intentions to sign a Goalkeeper his priority as Wolves have only Michael Oakes as the one senior `Keeper, but the injury to Warner will come as a blow to Millwall and Wolves who were expected to hand Millwall a better deal.

 The 29 year old `Keeper, who is tipped as one of the best Goalkeepers outside the Premiership is believed to have sustained a neck injury which is expected to keep him out for several months - bringing an end to any possible deal between Wolves and Warner.

 Wolves Manager Dave Jones now may turn his attentions to on-trial Swedish `Keeper Johan Wiland.
