Wolves Manager Dave Jones has
failed in a bid to strengthen his squad further in the January Transfer
Window as the window closed at 5pm last night.
Jones was trying to secure the
signature of one last player yesterday afternoon, but the Transfer Window
slammed shut calling a halt to any proposed deal.
Jones has added Carl Cort,
Paul Jones and Vio Ganea in the January window and Jones now hopes his
squad can continue with their current form and secure survival in this,
Wolves first ever Premiership campaign.
Carl Cort made a steady debut
at Portsmouth on Saturday whilst Jones had more luck with an inspired
performance which won him the Man Of The Match award from several tabloid
Newspapers over the weekend.
Relegation Rivals Portsmouth secured
a loan deal with Newcastle`s Lua Lua and Leeds sold Michael Bridges to
Newcastle whilst Lee Morris made the short trip from Derby to Leiecster in
the closing minutes of the window.
