After having a £2 Million bid for Shaun Goater rejected last season, Dave Jones may try again but lets hope he has more luck as City try and complete the Signing of Nicolas Anelka.

After Manchester City had a £12 Million Bid accepted by Paris Saint Germain on Thursday for Nicolas Anelka and with the signing imminent it is Reported that Shaun Goater may want to leave Main Road.

Wolves failed last season with a £2 Million bid to sign the striker, but as Keegan may want to get back some of the £12 Million spent on Nicolas Anelka £2 Million may seem a good deal.

Shaun Goater smashed in an impressive 28 goals last season for the champions and if Wolves were to sign him, it could prove a great signing.

Its public knowledge that Jones wants to strengthen the squad in the summer and if Wolves could land the City target next season could look even brighter.
