Wolves have suffered just one
defeat in the last six and have suffered just two league defeats at
Molineux since December 2002 - But even a record like that may not be
enough to prevent Arsenal from taking 3 points on Saturday.
Arsenal, who are yet to lose in the
league this season will expect to win and who could blame them? They are
playing Wolves, certainties for relegation and mere pushovers, however
Football is never that simple.
Despite the pundits writing
Wolves off game after game, despite the poor start to the season, despite
conceding so many goals and despite already loosing in 8 goals against
Arsenal already this season, Wolves never roll up and die and that
fighting spirit will be needed in abundance on Saturday.
The "Molineux
Factor" has played a major roll in giving Wolves the slight piece of
hope they currently have and the Superstars of Arsenal will not enjoy
their visit to Molineux. Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester United all
came to Molineux expecting to win, neither did.
Dave Jones is expected to replace
the suspended Paul Ince with Colin Cameron and Shaun Newton may return on
the right. Paul Jones is expected to be in between the posts and Carl Cort
may start his second consecutive game for Wolves.
In beating Manchester United
Wolves did Arsenal a favour, but Wolves will not be expecting any
pleasantries from Arsenal on Saturday, but one thing is for sure, Wolves
will be no pushovers.
