ISAAC Okoronkwo still hopes to
play a part in this Premiership Season. Okoronkwo has yet to start a
Premiership Game for Wolves since his summer transfer to Molineux but
claims he is 'ready to go'.
Okoronkwo has struggled to adapt
to life in the Premiership and the Nigerian International Defender, who
recently returned from the African Nations Cup has not played in any of
Wolves' Premiership Games this term.
However Okoronkwo still has
hopes of playing some role in this seasons relegation battle. "It
feels good to be back at Wolves now with a run of games under my
belt" Said Okoronkwo.
"I'm getting sharper
all the time, so I'll be sad if I can't break into the team now. Once
you start playing it's good to continue so that the sharpness comes back
100 per cent."
"The way the Wolves team is,
I've always got a chance of getting involved, but it all depends on what
Dave Jones wants to do. If he wants to call on me then I'm fit and
desperate to play."
However, Okoronkwo is
unlikely to play any part of the game at Leicester on Saturday. Denis
Irwin, Paul Butler, Jody Craddock, Lee Naylor, Mark Clyde and Oleg
Luzhny are all ahead of the Nigerian in the Molineux pecking order.
