WOLVES CAPTAIN Paul Ince says
he may still play on for Wolves next season, even if Wolves are
relegated at the end of this season.
Paul
Ince came out of retirement to try and help Wolves win promotion to the
Premier League. He succeeded and was persuaded to stop on and help
Wolves try and clinch survival in the Premier League.
Whether
he will succeed in his latter quest is unknown, but Ince says he still
may play next season even if he fails at trying to keep Wolves in the
Premiership.
"I
feel I've had a half decent season, so if I feel the same way next year
there's no reason why I can't continue playing Football" said the
Guv'nor.
"It
doesn't depend on Wolves staying up. Wolves are a great club with great
fans and you're a long time not playing" he added.
The
former England Captain has been superb this season and, should Wolves
beat the drop, then Ince will have played a huge part. However, he does
admit that he finds it hard to 'get up' for some of the games in the
Nationwide League, or Coca Cola League as it will be known next season.
"It's
hard to get up for games in the Nationwide League against the likes of
Grimsby - no disrespect to them. I feel the Premiership is where I
belong and I have a chance to play against the best players like Steven
Gerrard and Roy Keane".
