Butler To Attend FA Hearing Today

PAUL BUTLER Will today find out whether he will be found guilty of charges brought against him after an alleged incident in the tunnel after the Wolves defeat to Middlesbrough.

Paul Butler, Manager Dave Jones and the PFA's deputy chief executive Mick McGuire have all traveled to a Manchester Hotel today to face charges of "bringing the game into disrepute and using threatening, violent or insulting behaviour". 

However, Wolves' believe they have a strong case "We are going to contest the whole charge vigorously, particularly the claim Paul threw punches in the tunnel, which is something he strenuously denies." Said Wolves Secretary Richard Skirrow.

Should Butler be found guilty, he may serve a 3 game ban, possibly longer and will receive a fine. Wolves would have the grounds to launch an appeal, but Butler's suspension could start on Sunday.
