ENGLAND STRIKER Michael Owen found his scoring boots against Portsmouth on Wednesday ahead of
Wolves visit to Anfield on Saturday.
Owen scored a brace tonight in
Liverpool's 3-0 win over our relegation rivals Portsmouth at Anfield
tonight. Portsmouth have beaten Liverpool twice this season in both the
league and cup, but it was third time lucky for the home side who won
with particular ease.
The score-line flattened
Portsmouth, who were playing the game in hand they had over Leicester,
Wolves and Leeds.
Steven Gerrard was taken off
injured, but the England Midfield Man is still expected to play a part
against Wolves on Saturday.
