WOLVES SKIPPER Paul Ince was admitted
to Hospital on Saturday night after complaining of a serious pain in his knee
following a clash in the last minute of the game with Liverpool's John Arne
Riise.
Paul Ince spent Saturday night in Hospital
after complaining of a serious pain in his knee. Ince clashed with Liverpool
full-back John Arne Riise in the final minute of the game at Anfield on
Saturday. Ince's knee caught the head of Riise, who was also admitted to
Hospital for a check-up after suffering concussion.
"I got a call from Paul [Ince] at
about 9.30 on Saturday evening and he told me he was in a lot of pain" Said
Wolves manager Dave Jones.
Ince was kept in Hospital over-night and
had a scan to determine the full extent of the injury.
If Ince has suffered simply bruising then
the injury should not keep him out long, however if the injury is ligament
based, as feared, then Ince may be out for the majority of the final nine games
- which would be a huge blow for Wolves survival chances.
