SOUTHAMPTON STAR Jason Dodd has blasted Wolves Striker Henri Camara for a tackle which has ended the Saints player's season.

Henri Camara caught Dodd 5 minutes into the second half in the Premiership clash at Molineux on Saturday. Dodd was carried off the pitch with knee ligament damage which was today confirmed.

Dodd will be out for the rest of this season and has blasted Henri Camara for the nasty looking challenge. "I know he's not a malicious player but you do not hit someone across the knee like that by accident." Said Dodd.

Camara is not known as a nasty player and only has a couple of bookings to his name all season and he apologised to Dodd after the game "'Camara came into the medical room with his interpreter to apologise and so did Dave Jones" Dodd added

The news of Dodd's injury comes in a week where Vio Ganea has also been in the press for the wrong reasons. Ganea made a late lunge on Celtic's John Kennedy whilst playing in a friendly for Romania against Scotland.

The young Celtic star needs a knee-reconstruction after the challenge and will sideline him for at least a year - Ganea apologised for the tackle.

wolvesfc.co.uk would like to wish both Jason Dodd and John Kennedy a speedy recovery.
