Iversen Joins Rae As Rangers Targets

STEFFEN IVERSEN has emerged as a surprise second Wolves target for Rangers - who are also closely monitoring Alex Rae.

It is no secret that Rangers are interested in Rae and yesterday Rae declared his interest for a move North, but Striker Steffen Iversen has emerged as a surprise target for Rangers Boss Alex McLeish.

Iversen has failed to impress at Wolves this season and he currently finds himself low down the striking pecking order at Molineux. However, like Rae, Iversen is out of contract in the summer and may be tempted to join McLeish at Rangers.

The manager of the Scottish Giants was recently at Belfast to watch Iversen in a international for Norway against Northern Ireland and was also at Molineux on Saturday to keep tabs on Scottish Midfielder Alex Rae.
