Should Wolves win at the City
Of Manchester Stadium on Saturday then irony will have played a huge part.
Wolves first ever win in the
Barclaycard Premiership came at Molineux against Manchester City. Wolves go to
the City of Manchester Stadium looking for their first ever Barclaycard
Premiership Away Win. The referee for that first win at Molineux was Jeff
Winter. The ref on Saturday, surprise surprise is Mr Jeff Winter.
All Over?
Is it all over? It looks so.
Wolves are effectively seven points from safety, with just seven games to go.
Wolves need to take more than a point per game from the remaining seven games,
but when you take into account that Wolves have won just five games all season,
the fate of relegation is looking a harsh certainty.
It's important now that we
start to enjoy these remaining seven games. Survival is still possible, but the
chances are that we won't be heading back to the City of Manchester Stadium, St
Andrews or St James' park for at least a season, so we should enjoy it whilst we
can.
We all know why we are where
we are. We have all discussed over a pint what went wrong in the summer, but
it's time to forget and forgive...for the remaining seven games.
We all want to have our say,
we all want to vent our anger, but we should do so when the time is right and
when the season has ended.
Sections of the crowd started
to turn on some of the players on Saturday, but that achieves nothing. We [The
Fans] have been brilliant all season, so lets not spoil it now.
It's another sell-out for the

lads and let's hope they can hand us that first away win off the season.
