AFTER A very bad week, Middlesbrough
visit Molineux. It's simply a matter on delaying the inevitable now as Wolves
head towards the Football League.
It's been a bad week, a very very bad
week.
After losing a last-minute goal to Shaun
Wright-Phillips at the City Of Manchester Stadium last Saturday Wolves season
started to spiral quickly towards Division One.
Another last minute goal - plus a referee'
determined to spoil the game - earned Bolton Wanderers a valuable away win at
Molineux whilst making Premiership Survival nigh on impossible. Oh, and we must
not forget that Henri Camara has been charged by the FA and Dave Jones is to be
pushed before the FA to explain why he made a verbal attack on Uriah Rennie last
week.
It's now a matter of delaying the
inevitable. If Wolves were to lose on Saturday and Blackburn, Manchester City
and Portsmouth all win, then relegation would be a certainty.
Should Wolves beat Middlesbrough, then
their fate could be sealed at Birmingham City a week later.
The stats for this Premiership campaign
don't make good reading - so we advise you don't go and dig them out. Instead,
get in the pub, have a decent day, enjoy the match and savor the last few games
of Premiership Football for at least a year at Molineux.
