Mark Clyde Ruled Out Of Sundays Derby

WOLVES DEFENDER Mark Clyde has been ruled out of tomorrows local derby with Birmingham City at St Andrews due to a calf injury.

Mark Kennedy and Mark Clyde were both expected to undergo late fitness tests at Birmingham City on Sunday, but the latter will not be considered for selection after failing to make a good enough progress on his calf injury.

The young Irish defender has been very impressive in his handful of Premiership Games this season, but his unavailability will allow Denis Irwin to drop back into his famous right-back postition.

Mark Kennedy will still undergo a late fitness test but will expect to make the starting line-up.
