Relegation. We all dread it and we all hope it will never happen, however our Premiership life is hanging by the proverbial thread.

A Manchester City win, regardless of Wolves result against Everton would relegate Wolves back to the Nationwide. If Wolves were to lose to Everton, regardless of Manchester City's result, Wolves would be relegated.

It doesn't look too great, but thankfully relegation looked certain several weeks ago and it is the fact that relegation looked a certainty several weeks ago which will make relegation, should it occur tomorrow, a little bit more bearable.

Many would see this season as a write-off and in theory it probably has, but wins over Manchester United and a comeback, whilst 3-0 down at the interval against Leicester, has given the superb Barmy Army some moments to savor.

The lads have given their all, we can ask for no more.

As David Brent once said in The Office "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall"
