WOLVES STRIKER Vio Ganea is to
personally apologise to Celtic and Scotland star John Kennedy following Ganea's
poor tackle at Hampden Park last month.
Ioan Ganea - known as 'Vio' Ganea
throughout the Football World - is to apologise to Celtic Star John Kennedy
following his poor tackle on the Scotland star at Hampden Park last month.
The promising Celtic star was carried off
after just eight minutes of Scotlands 2-1 defeat to Romania following a late and
nasty looking tackle which left Kennedy facing up to a year on the sidelines.
At the time, Wolves Midfielder and
Scotland International Colin Cameron defended Ganea's challenge, but he has
since changed his mind, branding the Romanians tackle as "shocking".
"During the game, the tackle did not look that bad, but having watched it since, I can see now that it was shocking. If you see the reaction of the Scotland players [at the time], then it suggests that no-one realised how damaging that tackle would end up, and I sincerely hope that John makes a full and speedy recovery."
Said Cameron.
Ganea defended his tackle in the media,
despite Celtic Defender Stanislav Varga accusing Ganea of intentionally injuring
Kennedy.
Kennedy is now set to take legal action on
Ganea for the tackle, but Colin Cameron added that Ganea was set to apologise in
person to the injured Kennedy.
"...Ganea has asked me to get John
Kennedy's phone number so he can apologise" Cameron said

Despite the tackle being shocking, wolvesfc.co.uk refuse to believe that Ioan
Ganea set out to intentionally injuring John Kennedy. Once again we would like
