Newcastle United head for a Champions League place. Wolves without an away win
all season. An easy home win for the Geordies then...

Football is not quite as
black and white as it may appear.
When Wolves are starting to
prepare for life back in Division one Newcastle United could be making plans to
play in The Champions League, however a win for Wolves at St James' Park would
all but end Newcastle United's hope of that fourth Champions League place.
It's not been a great week
from the lads up north. With a growing injury list, Newcastle United fell out of
the Uefa Cup with a whimper on Thursday and Wolves will be looking to make their
poor week into one which would be classed as terrible.
Despite relegation, Wolves
head to St James' Park full of confidence. Seven points from the last three
games has seen Wolves take the scalps of Everton and Middlesbrough whilst a
point at Birmingham City added the seventh point to the little run of form.
It is no coincidence that the
run of form has coincided with a partnership which is currently testing the best
defenders up and down the country. Henri Camara and Carl Cort have banged in
eight goals in the past five games between them whilst Camara has scored seven
goals in eight games and Cort has banged in another impressive four goals in
five games.
Wolves have sold out their
3,000 allocation and the Barmy Army are looking to make it somewhat of a party
atmosphere.
The Newcastle Fans called
Carl Cort the 'invisible man' whilst the Striker was at St James'...how sweet
would it be if Cort added another to his tally to kill off Newcastle's Champions
League ambitions.
