Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be
on the verge of opening talks with Nottingham Forest Midfielder Gareth Williams.
Wolves were linked with the 22 year old
last Summer but it is believed that Nottingham's asking price was too great.
However Williams is now out of contract at
the City Ground and his agent, Phil Graham has confirmed that they will be
talking to a First Division Club, which is believed to be Wolves.
"We have had interest from several other clubs and I will be having talks with another Division One side in the near future."
Said Graham.
Forest have offered Williams a 3 year deal,
but Graham has said that Williams is unlikely to accept.
"As things stand, it is unlikely he will sign for Forest - unless they come up with a better contract
offer" Said Graham.
"If any other club makes an acceptable offer to Gareth, he will sign for them."
