Jones In The Dock After Blasting Rennie

WOLVES Manager Dave Jones will appear before the FA today as he prepares to defend the comments he made after the 2-1 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers last season.

Jones made a verbal attack on referee Uriah Rennie following the 2-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers in which Kevin Davies scored a 91st winner for the Trotters.

Uriah Rennis turned down two cast iron penalty appeals and Jones blasted the referee's performance after the match.

Wolves manager Dave Jones said “I stand by what I said about Mr Rennie which is why I requested a personal hearing,” 

“I want the chance to explain why I made those comments.

“My criticism of his performance was strongly worded but I feel that what I said was fair and justified.”

The hearing is in Birmingham today at 11am.

*Meanwhile Wolves are expecting to secure Paul Ince on a new one year contract at Molineux today.
