Wolves Close In On Olofinjana Deal - Breaking News

WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Nigerian International Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.

The tall midfielder was expected to sign for Monaco last week, but the deal broke down and now Wolves look set to be the club the current Brann star signs for.

Olofinjana spent time with club officials yesterday and Wolves are hoping to be able to announce something concrete later this week.

Jez Moxey said "He is in England. We are very interested in him and will meet him for talks tomorrow" 

Crystal Palace and Bolton are among Monaco as admirers of Olofinjana, but only Wolves and Monaco were able to agree a fee with Brann.

It is believed Wolves have had a bid of £1.5M accepted and it is now expected that Olofinjana will be the next summer Molineux capture.
