WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have beaten
table-topping Premier League side Tromso in Norway. Vio Ganea was once again on
the score sheet.
The Romanian International scored twice
after the break with Jody Craddock notching the first Wolves.
Tromso hit back twice late-on in the game,
but Wolves held on for the win.
Dave Jones made just one change from the
side which beat Tamworth so convincingly last week.
South African Matthew Booth played in the
centre of defence and Mark Kennedy was again tested at left-back.
Wolves took the lead after 29 minutes.
Kevin Cooper's clearance was only half cleared and Jody Craddock hit a shot
first time past the Tromso 'keeper from 10 yards.
After the break Wolves hit two goals in
twelve minutes - Viorel Ganea scoring both.
The first saw Ganea latch on to a Lee
Naylor cross and the Romanian International spun on a six-pence to fire home.
Twelve minutes later and the Wolves scoring
was complete. The Romanian International had to tap home from close range after
Keith Andrew's shot was spilled by the Tromso keeper.
One-Time Manchester United target Gamst Pedersen
scored two late goals for Tromso, but Wolves current form continues.
