Edwards Signs 3 Year Deal

WOLVES have today completed the second signing of the summer by completing the deal of Aston Villa defender Robert Edwards.

The 21 year old defender today finally signed on the dotted line after having to have a third medical examination following concerns over his first two.

However he passed the medical "with flying colours" and will now aim to push Mark Clyde for the right-back spot.

"I'm delighted to have finally completed the deal and to be able to say I'm a Wolves player," Edwards said.

"It's taken a bit longer than I'd hoped but it's all done with now and I'm happy to be here. I can't wait to get started on fighting for a place in the team and challenging for an immediate return to the Premiership."

Meanwhile Wolves target Martin Keown has today decided to join Leicester City.
