Wolves Fans Amazed As Players Fight

WOLVES fans far and wide were left amazed today when to players confronted each other in the live televised clash with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

Kenny Miller and Shaun Newton both clashed in the 17th minute following a Stoke corner which drifted wide for a Wolves goal kick.

Miller and Newton appeared to pass words, before the argument turned aggressive and the referee had to step in to cool matters down.

Wolves fans reacted angrily at the time whilst chants of "What the hell is going on" could be heard.

Speaking of the incident, Wolves manager Dave Jones also seemed far from impressed.

"They should watch the match tonight and see how stupid the pair of them looked. There was a bit of petulance between them but we sorted it out at half-time. I told them that we have enough on our plate fighting the opposition never mind fighting each other." Said the Wolves boss.

Wolves now move on to entertain Preston in Wolves' first home game of the season.
