Huge Injury Blow For Wolves And Ganea

WOLVES and Vio Ganea have been dealt a huge injury blow on the back of yesterdays below par performance against Stoke.

It has today been confirmed that Wolves striker Vio Ganea is to be ruled out for five or six months after feared news that his cruciate ligament will need an operation to be prepared.

The Wolves striker was injured during pre-season and Wolves had hoped that the injury would heal itself, but today's news means that Ganea won't be performing for Wolves at all this year.

"It's a blow to all of us. Vio is very disappointed but he's a strong character with a very good work ethic who will want to be back as soon as possible." Said Wolves Manager Dave Jones.

"However, we have to accept that he is going to miss a big part of the season. It's a pity because when it happened it looked an innocuous challenge. He just twisted his knee awkwardly. "

Wolves have today been linked with a move for top Czech Republic striker Marek Heinz.
