Jones Named Favourite For The Sack

WOLVES Manager Dave Jones has been named as the bookies favourite for the first Championship Manager to be sacked ahead of tomorrows clash with Leeds.

Wolves have got off to a poor start in the Championship, taking only one point from two games.

However many fans blame the board for the lack of summer signing and whilst Jones' is in charge of performances on the pitch, he has not been helped with the serious injury problems which currently surround Molineux.

Jones is rated as 9/2 favourite whilst Denis Wise and George Burley are both at 10/1.

Bet 365 spokesman Steve Freeth blamed the Wolves Fans as the reason for Jones' being made favourite.

"Wolves have the most fickle fans in England" He said. "They think they have a divine right to be in the Premiership and Jones faces a tough job with huge expectations".
