WOLVES Manager Dave Jones has today been
linked with a move for Everton Striker Duncan Ferguson, as the hunt - and need -
for a striker increases.
Wolves failed in a bid to sign a striker on
loan last week and Dave Jones has today been linked with a move for Everton
forward Duncan Ferguson.
The injury crisis at Wolves continues, with
8 first team regulars still stuck on the sidelines.
Of the eight outfield players injured, four
are strikers, with Romanian International Vio Ganea (Pictured) who signed a two
year contract in the summer, sidelined for the whole season.
Jones was yesterday linked with a move for
Manchester City winger/striker Trevor Sinclair and Jez Moxey has confirmed that
Wolves will use part of the £1.5M from Celtic for Henri Camara - which was a
British record loan fee - to offer a club record loan fee for a striker.
Wolves have until 5pm on Friday to complete
any proposed signing of a striker, for him to play at Burnley on Saturday.
Should Wolves fail again in a bid to
complete a signing, then Kenny Miller and young rookie striker Leon Clarke will
start up-front.
