Jones Happy With Away Win (Rochdale Reaction)

WOLVES Manager Dave Jones was happy with the first away win (against Rochdale) for 15 months, but was furious with his side's first half showing.

Wolves had to come back from 2 goals down to dispose of a tough Rochdale side, but Jones was furious with the way Wolves handed the home side such a comfortable lead.

"We thought that ability would be enough but we also needed to match their work-rate," Said Jones. "We didn't do that in the first half. But credit to the lads - I had a go at half-time and they came out and did what we asked.

Wolves second half outing was a massive improvement on the first, despite a Paul Ince wonder goal on the stroke of half time.

Second half goals from Leon Clarke, Kenny Miller and Keith Andrews was enough to earn Wolves their first away win and a place in the second round of the Carling Cup.
