WOLVES huge injury problems had started to
subside, however it has today been revealed that former Aston Villa defender Rob
Edwards would be out for three-months.
The injury list at Molineux has been huge.
Incredibly, a little over two weeks ago Wolves had twelve senior players
injured.
Joleon Lescott, Lee Naylor and Kevin Cooper
all recovered, but Rob Edwards has today been added to the injured list, a list
which also includes the likes of Vio Ganea, Joachim Bjorklund, Matt Murray, Mark
Kennedy and Carl Cort.
The defender, a £300,000 signing from
Aston Villa in the summer took a kick on his ankle during the Carling Cup game
at Rochdale last week and needs an operation to repair a ligament damaged in the
tackle.
"It's really unfortunate for the lad"
Said Wolves Manager Dave Jones.
"It's come at a time that he was just settling in at the club but all we can do is get on with the operation and get him back as soon as we can."
