Cort Impresses In Win For Reserves

CARL Cort scored in tonight's 2-1 Reserve win against Newcastle United at Molineux. Matt Murray and Joachim Bjorklund also impressed.

Carl Cort played 81 minutes in the game, the most he has played since the final game of the final game of the 2004 Premiership Season.

Cort and O'Connor both scored in the first half in an entertaining clash, with Newcastle United's Ameobi scoring a consolation for the visitors.

Jones will also be boosted by the news that Matt Murray impressed in his first proper work-out since the opening game of the Premiership last season and Joachim Bjorklund played 60 minutes after suffering an injury in Wolves second league game of the season.
