Jones STILL Defends His Goalkeeper

WOLVES Manager Dave Jones defended Paul Jones after sections of the Wolves crowd booed the Welsh International during the game against Cardiff.

Paul Jones has come under fire from the Wolves faithful numerous times already this season, but Wolves Manager Dave Jones still defends his goalkeeper.

Paul Jones has already been at fault for several games so far this season and his poor punch from a Cardiff corner lead to City's third goal.

This prompted a section of the crowd to boo Jones' for the remainder of the game, whilst other sections of the ground chanted "There's only one Matt Murray".

However Jones still refuses to put any blame on his Goalkeeper.

"At the moment Paul Jones seems to be the player a section want to have a go at. But what more could he do - he punched the ball to the edge of the area?" Said the Manager.

The Fans would like to see Michael Oakes replace Paul Jones whilst Matt Murray remains injured. The former Aston Villa goalkeeper was in inspirational form before he was dropped for Jones mid-way through last season.
