Moxey: Start To Season Not Acceptable

WOLVES Chief Executive Jez Moxey has piled the pressure on Manager Davs Jones by describing the start to the season as not "acceptable".

Wolves have taken just eleven points from the opening eleven games and Jones confirmed that the current situation has been discussed with Manager Dave Jones.

"The situation has been discussed with the manager and coaching staff on several occasions and we are all very concerned because 11 points from 11 games just isn't acceptable."

Moxey had said at the start of the season that he hoped Wolves would clinch automatic promotion "in style", but now hopes Wolves can make it aq mere 14 points from 12 games when Wolves play Forest at the City Ground next week.

"Obviously we don't have a match this weekend, but what better way of turning things around than by getting three points from next Friday night's televised game."
