Moxey Won't Be Rushed To Sack Jones

WOLVES Chief Executive Jez Moxey has said that he won't be rushed into sacking under-fire manager Dave Jones.

Wolves lost for the third consecutive time at the City Ground on Friday night. Jones' Wolves side were unable to break down ten-man Nottingham Forest who had goal scorer Andy Reid sent-off early in the second half, putting manager Jones under huge pressure.

Sections of the Wolves support are now desperate to see Jones sacked, but Moxey won't say when Jones will get the boot.

"I will not sit on my hands doing nothing if we don't get results but I will not be drawn on a timetable," Said Moxey

"We are not running away from the problem and every person with the interests of the club at heart feels the way we do because currently our results are unacceptable"  

Wolves play Derby County at Molineux on Tuesday and former Wolves defender Isaac Okoronkwo could feature for the visitors.

Derby boss George Burley admitted that talks for the Nigerian were at an advanced stage.
