WOLVES Manager Dave Jones has asked his players to show some 'bottle' ahead of Tuesday nights crunch game with Derby County at Molineux.

It is believed that Dave Jones must win the game to keep hold of his job, after his Wolves team lost for the third consecutive time at the City Ground on Friday night.

Jones had been told prior to Friday that he must take 9 points from games against Nottingham Forest, Derby County, QPR and Gillingham and, having lost in the first of the four games, Jones must now win the remaining three.

Cardiff City's 2-0 win over Rotherham put Wolves in the relegation zone, forcing Jones to ask for some 'bottle' from the squad he spent almost £30M on in four seasons in charge.

"We have got to face 25,000 home fans tomorrow and we will see who has the bottle." Said Jones.

"When you are in a situation like this you find out the character of the people you are working with,"

"The pressure is not just on me but on the players to perform." he said.

Wolves face Derby as they come into form, but again, player for player, Wolves should win the game.

"Derby are doing well at the moment. George Burley has turned things around . But not so long ago people were calling for his head.

"Pressure is all part and parcel of the job. Some times there will be rough patches and its whether you can come through them. You either get battle hardened or get swallowed up by it.

"But the pressure doesn't just come from outside. I put pressure on myself because I have my standards and my dignity."
